Rameshwar Singh, born on March 20, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Special Secretary, Finance Commissioner, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Commissioner in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, appointed on February 11, 2016. Singh’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Bihar cadre.
