Rameshwar Prasad Gupta, born on 12 December 1961, is a retired IAS officer from the 1987 Gujarat cadre. A graduate in Aerospace Engineering, he has held numerous key positions including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, and District Collector. His service extended to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, where he served as Chairman & Managing Director of the Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. in New Delhi from 13 June 2023 to 10 May 2025. Throughout his career, he contributed to various administrative roles across multiple departments.
