Ramesh Kumar Sudhanshu, born on March 7, 1970, is a 1997 batch IAS officer of the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a B.A. from Patna University, an M.Sc. from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, and a P.G. degree in International Development from Duke University. Currently serving as Principal Secretary in the Forest and Environment Department since April 20, 2024, his extensive career includes roles such as District Magistrate, Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, and Secretary to the Governor. Proficient in English and Hindi, he continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
