Dr. Ramesh Chandra Sagar, born on April 8, 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. in Medicine and a postgraduate degree in Anaesthesiology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Assistant Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer, Commissioner, Managing Director, Member Secretary, and CEO. His most recent position was Project Director at Mumbai, Maharashtra, within the Health and Family Welfare Department. Dr. Sagar’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles across the Maharashtra state government.
