Ramesh Chand Meena, born on March 4, 1969, is a 1997 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Political Science, an M.A. in Political Science, and a B.A. in Economics, Political Science, and Geography. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary of the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, a position he assumed on December 22, 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Principal Secretary, Additional Industries Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Commissioner, Director General, Assistant Collector, District Development Officer, and District Collector. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
