Chief Electoral Officer and E/O Principal Secretary, Election Department
Ramalingam Ramaseshan, born on December 4, 1956, is a retired IAS officer from the 1982 Karnataka cadre. He served in the Election Department, most recently as Chief Electoral Officer and E/O Principal Secretary from January 1 to April 15, 2008. His extensive career includes roles such as Chief Electoral Officer and Secretary, Managing Director, Executive Director, Secretary, Director, Chief Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, and Assistant Commissioner. Ramaseshan holds a postgraduate degree in Cost Accounting, a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA in Finance. His diverse experience spans multiple administrative and leadership positions across various departments.
