Rama Raman, born on May 4, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. A graduate in Electronics Engineering, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Joint Secretary, Executive Director, and Deputy Managing Director. His most recent role was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in the Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department from May 11, 2012, to May 31, 2021. Throughout his career, he held key administrative and leadership positions contributing to the governance and development of Uttar Pradesh.
