Ram Swaroop, born on January 1, 1931, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics and a postgraduate degree in Chemistry. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional District Magistrate, Under Secretary, Joint Director, Additional Director, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Public Works Department from January 1, 1986, to June 1, 1988. Ram Swaroop's extensive service in the IAS reflects his commitment to administrative roles within the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
