Ram Prasad Shukla, a 1990 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, served in various capacities throughout his career. Born on 15 August 1949, he held positions including Commissioner, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Special Secretary, Director, Managing Director, District Magistrate, and District Collector. His most recent role was Divisional Commissioner at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, from 23 June 2007 to 31 August 2009. He also served as Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. A graduate by education, Ram Prasad Shukla is now retired from the Indian Administrative Service.
