Ram Niwas Sharma, born on 10 October 1968, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch, serving in the AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.Sc. and an LL.B. degree. Currently, he is the Commissioner at J&K in the School Education Department, a position he has held since 13 January 2026. Previously, he served as Secretary and Labour Commissioner. Mr. Sharma continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to administrative functions within his cadre and department.
