Ram N R Prasad 1, born on 10 August 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Bihar cadre. He holds graduate degrees in English and Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Officer, Junior Scale, Deputy Secretary, Joint Director, Managing Director, and Additional Director. His most recent position was Additional Director in the Industries Department from 1 March 1992 to 22 January 1996.
