Ram Ekbal Roy, born on October 3, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree and a postgraduate degree in Economics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Managing Director, Additional Collector, Joint Secretary, and notably as District Collector and Magistrate from September 1, 1992, to October 31, 1997. He also held the position of Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. His extensive service reflects a dedicated career in public administration within the Bihar cadre.
