Ram Avtar, born on January 5, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Rajasthan cadre. He served in the Land Revenue department and held the position of District Collector and District Magistrate in Rajasthan from May 1, 2002, to January 31, 2005. His educational background includes a Graduate degree in English Literature, a Postgraduate degree in English Literature, and an MBA in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he also served as Managing Director in multiple capacities.
