Rakesh Srivastava, born on March 23, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Rajasthan cadre. He holds a graduate degree and postgraduate degree in Physics, along with an MBA in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and District Magistrate, Managing Director, Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Special Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, and Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the Women and Child Development Department, Rajasthan, from May 11, 2017, to March 31, 2019.
