Rakesh Singh, born on May 2, 1964, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2009 batch, serving in the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.A. and an M.Phil. degree. Currently, he is the Joint Chief Electoral Officer in the Government of Madhya Pradesh, a position he has held since June 1, 2023. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Secretary and Sanchalak, as well as previously holding the role of Joint Chief Electoral Officer. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
