Rakesh Kumar Sharma, born on 25 September 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Rajasthan cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Zoology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, District Collector and District Magistrate, Special Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, and Administrator. His most recent position was Secretary at Jaipur, Rajasthan, from 8 May 2006 to 30 September 2008. He was associated with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission during his service. Mr. Sharma’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple key roles within the Rajasthan state government.
