Rakesh Kumar Mishra, born on November 1, 1965, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.A. in Ancient History. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director at Jal Nigam, Lucknow, a position he assumed on July 14, 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Managing Director, Special Secretary, District Magistrate, and Director. He was honored with the Digital India Award in 2016. Mr. Mishra continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration of Uttar Pradesh.
