Rakesh Kumar Malpani, born on March 2, 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2014 batch, serving in the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. Currently, he is the Special Secretary in the Home and Jail Department at Lucknow, a position he has held since January 9, 2022. Mr. Malpani continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of Uttar Pradesh.
