Rakesh Kumar Goel, born on 15 September 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. During his career, he served in various capacities including Staff Officer, District Magistrate, District Collector, and was once under suspension. His most recent position was Divisional Commissioner at Basti, Uttar Pradesh, from 15 February 2011 to 30 September 2011. He was associated with the Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
