Rakesh Kumar, born on 10 February 1966, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch, Bihar cadre. During his service, he held the position of Director in the Consolidation department at Bihar from 7 September 2024 to 28 February 2026. He also served as District Magistrate and Collector. His career in the IAS was marked by his roles within the Bihar administration until his retirement.
