Rakesh Kanwar, born on 15 June 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 batch, serving in the Himachal Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.B.A. and has held multiple key positions including Secretary and Director. Since 4 March 2024, he has been serving as Secretary, Information and Public Relations, Himachal Pradesh. Currently in service, Rakesh Kanwar continues to contribute to the administrative framework of the state.
