Rakesh Agrawal, born on June 2, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds an LL.B. in Law, a postgraduate degree in Political Science, and an MBA in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Managing Director, Director, Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Secretary. His most recent position was Director General at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from December 2011 to June 2016. He was associated with the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management.
