Rajesh Pandey, born on 29 June 1972, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1995 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and postgraduate diplomas from Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania, and IGNOU, Delhi. Currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles department since 7 March 2026, Pandey has held various positions including Assistant Magistrate, Principal Secretary, Chairman and Managing Director, Secretary, Electoral District Officer, Commissioner, District Magistrate, and others. He is proficient in Bengali, English, Hindi, and Nepalese. He continues to serve in the IAS.
