Rajesh Kumar Singh, born on 24 November 1964, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Kerala cadre batch. He holds a graduate degree in Economics and is currently serving as Secretary in the Defence Department at South Block, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi since 1 November 2024. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Principal Secretary to Government, Chief Vigilance Officer, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Special Officer, Project Director, Private Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Under Secretary, and Additional Director. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Malayalam.
