A graduate in Medicine, he served in various capacities including SDO, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Executive Director, Director, Deputy Commissioner, and Private Secretary. His most recent role was Chief Secretary to the Government in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from 11 November 2020 to 30 June 2022. Throughout his career, he held multiple key administrative positions contributing to the governance of Manipur.
