Rajesh Kumar, born on 17 October 1973, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2001 Bihar cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner at Saharsa, Bihar, in the Kosi Division since 17 January 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Administrative Officer, Secretary, Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Director, Registrar, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Deputy Development Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector and Additional District Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
