Rajesh J. Narvekar, born on 18 May 1968, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2009 batch, Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.Sc. degree from Mumbai University. Currently, he serves as the Transport Commissioner of Maharashtra since 20 February 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including District Collector, Joint Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Commissioner, and Commissioner. He has been recognized with the Best District Election Officer award. Rajesh J. Narvekar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration of Maharashtra.
