Rajesh Bhushan, born on 31 July 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Bihar cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer, and multiple secretary-level positions. His most recent role was Secretary at the Health and Family Welfare Department, New Delhi, from August 2020 to July 2023. He was involved with the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme. His extensive administrative experience spans roles such as Officer on Special Duty, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Managing Director.
