Rajesh B. Deshmukh, born on 10 May 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2008 batch, Maharashtra cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc.) degree. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Managing Director, Collector & District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, and DM & Collector. Currently, he is the Commissioner (Excise) at Maharashtra, a position he has held since 20 February 2025. Mr. Deshmukh continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration of Maharashtra.
