Rajendra Mohan Srivastava, born on 17 June 1955, is a retired IAS officer from the 1982 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Political Science and a postgraduate degree in Modern Indian History. Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, and Special Secretary. He held multiple Secretary Director roles and was Principal Secretary and Commissioner. His most recent position was Director General of the Jail Department from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015. Mr. Srivastava's extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Indian Administrative Service.
