Rajendra Kumar, born on 16 December 1966, is a 1989 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he serves as Secretary at Uttarakhand in the General Administration department since 17 January 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary to CM, Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Chairman & MD, Special Secretary, Director, Joint Chief Electoral Officer, and SDM. He has been recognized with the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration. Rajendra Kumar is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
