Rajendra Bharud, born on July 1, 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. Currently, he serves as Project Director RUSA at Maharashtra's Higher and Technical Education Department since March 4, 2025. His previous roles include Deputy Secretary, Collector & District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Collector, Assistant Secretary, and Commissioner. He has been recognized for contributions to rural housing schemes, including the construction of 3,701 houses under the State Rural GHARKUL Schemes and completion of 10,427 houses under PMAY (Rural).
