Rajender Kumar, born on 18 February 1978, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2004 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.A.M.S. degree in Ayurvedic medicine. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner at Gujarat's Transport Department since 22 December 2025. His previous roles include Secretary to Government, Adviser to Executive Director, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector and District Magistrate, District Development Officer, and Assistant Collector. He has received multiple awards such as Best District Collector, Best District Election Officer, and recognition from the Skoch Foundation for Disaster. He is proficient in English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Sanskrit.
