Rajeev Swarup, born on October 8, 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Rajasthan cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Director, Special Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Executive Director, Member, Chairman & Managing Director, Commissioner, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Commissioner & Principal Secretary in Jaipur, Rajasthan, starting August 1, 2012, within the Department of Information and Public Relations. Mr. Swarup’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles in the Rajasthan government.
