Rajeev Singh Thakur, born on 29 June 1969, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Physics and two M.A. degrees, including Economics. Currently serving as Adviser at NITI Aayog, New Delhi since 4 February 2025, he has held various key positions such as Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary to Government, Mission Director, Secretary-cum-Commissioner, Director, Private Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector, and Sub Divisional Officer. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
