Rajeev Ranjan, a 1989 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, was born on December 30, 1963. He holds a graduate degree and an M.Sc. in Chemistry. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Counsellor, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Executive Director, Additional Collector, Project Officer, and SDO. He was associated with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, specifically the National Commission for Backward Classes in New Delhi. His most recent position was Secretary at New Delhi from December 31, 2021, to December 31, 2023. He is now retired.
