Rajeev Kumar Mital, born on 13 February 1974, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 Maharashtra cadre. Currently serving as Director General at Maharashtra since 15 March 2024, he is part of the Ministry of Jal Shakti. He holds a B.E. and M.E. in Electronics from Delhi University and an M.P.A. in Public Administration from Syracuse University. His previous roles include Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Commissioner, Secretary, Managing Director, Member Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Private Secretary, District Collector, Chief Executive Officer, and Sub Divisional Officer. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
