Rajeev Kher, born on 28 June 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry, an M.Sc. in Chemistry, and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Special Secretary, and Secretary to the Governor. His most recent role was Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department from 1 February 2014 to 30 June 2015. Rajeev Kher’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Indian government.
