Rajat Nanda, born on 27 August 1985, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Officer on Special Duty, Assistant Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, Additional District Megistrate and DL LRO, Sub Divisional Officer, Director, and District Magistrate. Currently, he is the Special Secretary at the Information and Public Relations Department, West Bengal, a position he has held since 27 November 2025. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
