Rajat Kumar Mishra, born on January 4, 1968, is a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds an M.Sc. in Geology. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, New Delhi (since June 13, 2023). His past roles include Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary to Government, Secretary to Chief Minister, Chairman and Managing Director, Special Secretary, Managing Director, District Collector and District Magistrate, and Deputy Secretary to Government. He has received two Certificates of Merit and is proficient in English and Oriya.
