Rajarshi Mitra, born on 24 November 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.A. in English Honours from the University of Calcutta and an M.A. in English from Jadavpur University. Currently, he serves as Managing Director of WBHIDCO since 27 October 2025. His previous roles include Sub Divisional Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate and Collector, Joint Secretary to Government, and Municipal Commissioner. He has received the Bhoomi Samman Platinum Certificate under DILRMP for computerization of land records and related initiatives. He is proficient in Bengali and English.
