He holds a B.Com. from Punjab University, Chandigarh, an M.A. from IGNOU Delhi, and an M.B.A. from Delhi University. Currently serving as Secretary at the Agriculture and Horticulture and Panchayati Raj (Agriculture) Department, he is proficient in English and Punjabi.
