Rajagopalan Doraiswami, born on 26 July 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1974 Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in Physics. Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Additional Collector, District Development Officer, Municipal Commissioner, Director, Managing Director, Chairman, Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and CEO. His most recent position was Chief Secretary to the Government of Gujarat from 1 October 2008 to 31 December 2009. Doraiswami's extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles within the Gujarat state government.
