Rajagopal Devara, born on 17 August 1965, is a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.A. from P.G. JNU New Delhi. Currently, he serves as Additional Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner at Mumbai since 10 April 2024 in the Planning Department. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Press Secretary, Commissioner & Registrar, Divisional Commissioner, Commissioner, Director, District Collector, Municipal Commissioner, CEO, Project Officer, Assistant Collector, and Additional Chief Secretary. He is proficient in English and Telugu and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
