Raja Ram Upadhyay, born on 22 July 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Director, Special Secretary, and District Collector and Magistrate. His most recent designation was District Magistrate from 17 January 2004 to 31 July 2006. He also worked in the Land Revenue Department as Director of Census Operations.
