Raj Gopal, born on 29 January 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Gujarat cadre. He held various key positions including Managing Director, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Commissioner, Commissioner & Secretary, Development Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, District Development Officer, Additional Registrar, Assistant Collector, and Principal Secretary to Government. His most recent role was Principal Secretary at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, in the Ports and Transport Department from 25 August 2014 to 22 June 2016. He holds a Graduate and Postgraduate degree in German and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.
