Raj Gopal, born on January 29, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Gujarat cadre. He served as Principal Secretary in the Ports and Transport Department at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from August 25, 2014, to June 22, 2016. His extensive career includes roles such as Managing Director, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Commissioner, Commissioner & Secretary, Development Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, District Development Officer, Additional Registrar, Assistant Collector, and Principal Secretary to Government. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in German and a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management.
