Rahul Tiwari, born on March 4, 1976, is a 2000 batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre. He holds a B.A. degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Chairman and Managing Director, Administrative Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner & Director, Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Chief Administrator, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. Currently, he is the Principal Secretary at Punjab since March 3, 2025, and is associated with the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Karnataka. He remains in active service.
