Rahul Sharanappa Sankanur, born on October 8, 1990, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2019 batch, Karnataka cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum. Currently, he serves as the Additional Commissioner (Development) at Bengaluru Central, a position he has held since September 3, 2025. His previous roles include Director and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Sankanur continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
