Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Principal Secretary, Municipal Commissioner, Secretary, Chief Editor, Additional Commissioner, Commissioner, District Collector, District Development Officer, Director, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from 7 November 2009 to 31 May 2013.
