Rachna Bhagat, born on 29 July 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2009 batch, West Bengal cadre. She holds a B.A. from MD Saraswati University, Ajmer, and an M.A. and M.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, she serves as Secretary to the Government of West Bengal in the ICDS department. Her most recent designation was Director, appointed on 21 January 2020. Throughout her career, she has held positions including Managing Director, Additional District Magistrate, Executive Director, Sub Divisional Officer, Junior Scale officer, and Collector. She is proficient in English and Hindi.
