Rachna Bhagat, born on 29 July 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2009 batch, West Bengal cadre. She holds a B.A. from MD Saraswati University, Ajmer, and an M.A. and M.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, she serves as Secretary in the Labour Department, West Bengal, since 9 June 2026. Her previous roles include Director, Additional District Magistrate, Executive Director, Managing Director, Junior Scale officer, Collector, and Sub Divisional Officer. She is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
